insurance & payment options

We accept all dental insurance plans.

We are in-network with Delta Dental Premier and out-of-network with all other plans. Being out-of-network does not mean your insurance won’t help pay for your care. Most PPO plans include out-of-network benefits, and we’ll help you use them.

How it works

If you have Delta Dental Premier: You’re in-network with us. We bill Delta directly, and you pay only your portion as outlined by your plan. Many Delta Dental plans include access to the Premier network, so if you have Delta, give us a call and we’ll check for you.

If you have any other insurance: We can submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf. At your visit, you pay your estimated portion, and your insurance reimburses us for the covered amount according to your plan’s out-of-network benefits. For many patients, the difference compared with an in-network office is smaller than they expect, and sometimes there’s no difference at all.

If you don’t have insurance: You’re welcome here. We’ll give you a clear estimate before any treatment begins and can tell you about our financing options.

Why we practice this way

Insurance companies set the fees for in-network offices, and those fees often shape how much time a dentist can spend with each patient. We’ve chosen to stay out-of-network with most plans so we can practice the way we believe dentistry should be done: unhurried appointments, thorough exams, high-quality materials and labs, and treatment plans built around your long-term health rather than around what a plan will cover this year.

We know cost matters, so our goal is to be completely transparent. You’ll always know what to expect before treatment begins, and our team is happy to walk through your benefits with you.

Questions to ask your insurance company

  • Does my plan include out-of-network benefits?
  • What percentage do you cover for preventive, basic, and major services out-of-network?
  • What is my annual maximum, and how much have I used this year?
  • Do I have a deductible, and has it been met?
  • Do you pay the provider directly or reimburse me?

Or simply send us your insurance information using the form below, and we’ll find out for you.
